Uninstalling Sophos??

I am trying to install VirusScan 8.6 on my MacBook but the VirusScan 8.6 installer tells me that other virus software is on my computer. I deleted the trial version of Sophos and did a spotlight search for any sophos files. The search found nothing.
Anyone know how to find the file(s) that VirusScan 8.6 installer is screaming about for removal??

Use Spotlight again with the word Sophos (note the initial capital letter). I've just done that and found a set of preferences that weren't removed when I uninstalled Sophos months ago using CleanApp (or AppCleaner - can't quite recall). You may see something like Users/*Name*/Library/Preferences; also /Library/Logs.

Then use Spotlight with the word Logs because there may be several Logs folders.

Download EasyFind
This is the best search utility there is, toggle on the Files/Folders and Hidden Files and search for whatever.
You'll be amazed at what it can find that SpotLight does not.
