I love how the car metaphor is always brought up, but seemingly is misinterpreted by the PC loving crowd.
I agree with above similarities. In my situation, I own both 2 Macs and a PC. I also own a Volvo and a Saturn. I definitely equate my Macs with my Volvo, and my PC with my Saturn.
Both...
ummmm....
couldn't you just call your ISP and ask what IP you were assigned? Unless you are specifically looking for a method of discovering it from your Mac, this seems to me the easiest path to discovery. I could be wrong though......
I would add:
Better handling of reading others profiles, and editing of my own.
The abililty to easily connect to the Community Chats. I don't do it very often, but there are a few times I'd like to and have not been able to.
lol Gia!
I can't believe this. This sounds like an SNL skit or something. I'll never make fun of the iWalk again!
(Hands a wet-wipe to everyone on the boards. Make sure you all wash up real good now.)
Looks very nice. I love the clean lines and flow of the site. I loaded quickly in every browser I tried (Safari, Exploder, Navigator, Camino, Netscrape, Omniweb, Opera, et al).
Very good work. Isn't validation wonderful?
You inspire me. I need to get on finishing the validation for my site.
Well, nobody here seems to have a clue, and neither do I. But, I did try the CD at home like I said, and it worked fine. I came back to work and tried again, and I'm importing at normal sizes right this moment as I type.
Go figure.
All this just goes to show you that everyone's experience with OS X is different. I'm running it on a G4 450 and an iMac G3 600, and it runs faster and better that ANY version of OS 9 ever did on the same machines.
I don't miss 9 one blessed bit. The only thing I think I'm out on right now is...
I quote myself:
Each to his own dude, each to his own. But what do you expect from a Mac-centric board? Notice I said that it gives ME a good experience.
I don't have much choice as to where I'm moving due to a lot of reasons.
I spoke with a representative from OptiStreams, which is the only company that works with DirecWay that supports Macintosh. Their service is $99 per month, and you have to buy/lease a router which costs $1700! They say...
I was just wondering if anyone had seen X-Men 2 yet, and if so, was it great, good, ok, or just plain bad.
I'm thinking about taking my son to see it, but don't want to spend the money if it's a waste.
