Thanks for the reply... not sure if I actually tired booting fresh from a shutdown or not. I have had a hell of a time tring to get this installed.... pulled the Apple SCSI card, a 256M DIMM, a Lightwave dongle and all my USB periphrials (sp) off in case something was messing up the install...

I have a G4 Dual0450 with a 6g OSX partition on a 30g drive, and a DVD-RAM. I have been trying to install OSX all day (from a legit CD, not a copy) The CD boots the machine... lots of noise, then usually a blank blue screen. The last time, hitting the Enter key after 10 minutes of blank screen...

I'm having trouble getting the OS to install on my G4 - the system just hangs and gives me some really scary screens. A few times I get a blank happy Mac screen with the spinningrainbow cursor, other times I get what looks like an NT blue screen (with the 0x0000000 -type errors) saying...
