I can see people expecting that action to bring the window back to the desktop (in fact I'm not sure why it doesn't.) I'd be happy just with "Close" in the contextual menu. Maybe drag it to the trash? I think you're on to something.

Vic, Check out SVG. It's cross platform. Adobe pushes it but it isn't proprietary like flash, and i think it works with java (not sure.) But I think it's definitely worth checking out.

Firmware is an OS independent feature. It has to do with the G4s ROM and remains unchanged (hopefully) until you update it again.
