Try System Optimizer. Although it's just designed to make X a bit snappier, it could always delete an oversized cache file which makes X run like a dog.. Good chance.:)

MSN Messenger works, but when you enter a message, the scrollbar doesnn't automaticly scroll down anymore, so after each and every word, you have to manually put the scrollbar down.

WOW! I've been at this for days! I found the solution. In case there are others, Installation.framework in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks was changed by that corrupted Safari seed. Get a friend who isn't having any problems and replace his framework with yours. WHOO I can install again!

Seriously, people. I'm getting kinda pissed. I can't even install Safari or iChat AV now ANYONE!

Although I agree with you a bit there, cybergoober, why should anyone have to backup their stuff? Computers are meant to work..
