Hey, everytime I try to open a .pkg file, Installer bounces in the dock and then stops bouncing. Could this have anything to do with that Safari v80 leak? The one where it messed some computers (mine too) up a bit? I really need help cause I can't install some things I just bought.

WOW! I've been at this for days! I found the solution. In case there are others, Installation.framework in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks was changed by that corrupted Safari seed. Get a friend who isn't having any problems and replace his framework with yours.
