I am thinking on purchasing the MacMini Duo... the 1.66Ghz model... on Apples site... I understand that with Bootcamp it is possible to install Windows XP, and have a dual-boot soultion between operating systems... My question is complex... but maybe not to some of you... The Question I pose...

Fryke... Any word yet when 10.4.2 will be released yet.. lol... anything any news... as to what they are working on. Memory? Features, bugs? etc.

Why can't they go to OS 11... why do they have to go from... 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, and now presumably... 10.5... why not OS XI

just becareful when you pull the keyboard away... keys can fall off if you jiggle it with your wrist i did that almost broke the keyboard.

I am using Word 2004... I tried to use Pages... but I find the interface a bit preplexing... I like Apple Works 6. etc.. because of the interface... but Word seems to have what I need and how I need it for now... I would love to see Apple Works 7... Instead of Pages which to me is nothing more...

I didn't mean to make a big brew-haha, but AMD does make X86 so does Intel so I was just wondering what AMD, is going to do. Intel probably will go with xeons... or a new Intel chip made for Mac only etc.

actually AMD could sue Apple if Apple decides not to go with any AMD products in the future... due to Intel who will have a monopoly now on the PC/APPLE computer market.

AMD is going to sue someone... probably Apple instead of Intel. They would probably sue because they won't have a share in an X86 processor... Isn't this what Intel is going to give Apple? an X86 processor?

I am just curious will Apple Intel processors be the same as X86 processors in code? If this is the case than eventually AMD will follow suit and release X86 processoes in code for Apple... So in a way it could really give Window's a run for thier money finally... Longhorn is not everything...

Well I don't think I have any virus's... I've checked both my IBM's Pieces of crap that are attached to my network and my Apple Laptop... but I am still worried about the Apple possibly having a virus even though that's a REMOTE possiblity.

Other than .Mac... Does anyone recommend a good anti-virus program that is compatible with 10.4.1?
