    Uninstall both browsers and reinstall the one you prefer to use. I recommend Firefox. Also, next time you have a question, please type at least part of your question in the subject or a term that has to do with your issue... you are more likely to get visitors to your question if you do.

    The directions you are finding are for Tiger, not leopard. Firewall tab is in Security in Leopard. In Tiger it is in Sharing, which is why you don't see it. Please go to system preferences>security>firewall, or find other directions that are for Leopard.
