    Background image gone

I found a great picture of Vader and set it as my background image, but everytime I startup my computer, it's gone and in its place is one of the aqua backgrounds. What's going on? Help.

    Networks: Past and Present

I found an old Macintosh Plus manual and it had a pic of an Apple Personal Modem. When I saw it, I thought to myself, "Self, I've seen that before recently." And guess what, the Apple Personal Modem is very similar to the new AirPort Express with AirTunes. Take a look.....

    Star Wars Battlefront

I play Battlefront on my Dell laptop and the multiplayer is pretty good. There have only been two patches so far, so they are still working some of the bugs out. It can be a bit laggy at times, but that's probably because of my internet connection and the graphics card in the laptop. The...

    iHome?

They get to see people like us arguing whether or not the product is a fake or not.

    iHome?

I'd say it's fake, because here in the United States, "Centre" is spelled "Center". But what is in the box next to it that has a green label?

X-Wing and Tie Fighter on OS X

Does Classic support those settings or should I just play it on my Performa? I was hoping to play it on my G4 with my Logitech USB joystick, because I don't have the original ADB joystick.

    iMac RAM

I recently upgraded my iMac with a 512MB module and took out the factory installed 128MB stick. I was wondering if it could be used in any other type of computer, or can it only be used in the iMac? It is a Samsung PC100 128MB SDRAM 168-pin module and it was originally installed in an iMac...

X-Wing and Tie Fighter on OS X

No I haven't upgraded to Panther yet. I was waiting till Tiger came out to upgrade, but do you think X-Wing and Tie Fighter would be playable using Panther?

X-Wing and Tie Fighter on OS X

I just installed Tie Fighter and tried to play it in Classic Mode and then my whole screen went nuts! Everything became black and yellow and it kept flashing. The game was able to start and the main star wars title came up, but I couldn't take all the flashing, it was screwing up eyes. Any...

X-Wing and Tie Fighter on OS X

I have both of those games and I used to play them all the time on my Performa. Doing all the training missions and earning medals and badges. The best part was trying to blow up star destroyers. Anyways, I was looking through the "Will Apple get rid of the OS 9 emulator?" thread and noticed...

    Matias OS X Keyboard

I like the fact that you can type all those different symbols straight from the keyboard without having to scroll through a symbol menu. But the keys look a bit confusing. Every key has at least 2 or 3 symbols on it.

    Old school Mac games

Well, I tried writing the .dsk file to a floppy and it didn't work. But I did find the greatest Apple II emulator at www.emulation.net called OSXII. OSXII was able to read the .dsk files. This program is amazing! After almost 15 years, I can finally play Odell Lake and Number Munchers again...

    Old school Mac games

I finally found Odell Lake at: ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/unsorted/ Tomorrow I'll try to write it to a floppy and see if it works on my Macintosh SE.
