Well on my Mac book Air running Sonoma 14.1.1 and if I hold down the 'command key' while clicking the Tab key brings up the select application overlay for selecting the running application!
It's been that way sense the beginning! Every Mac OS X upgrade and the new operating system Time Machine would start over again! Fr this very reason I went to shareware that''s more advanced and updates about 2-3 days after a Mac OS X upgrade!
Time Machine is basic backup! with almost every version of program in many version of Mac OS and even Mac OS X so at every upgrade Time Machine resets like it is new for the new version of Mac OS!
However I went with a shareware called Carbon Copy Cloner that in my opinion way more advanced!
To me APFS was make ONLY for SSDs and NVMEs and tears up traditional drives over time! I've been to Apple discussions boards and read messages of people complaining using APFS on platter drives degrades them much faster! That's why I say with old style HHD should be in option HFS+ on old drives...
Yea I try but they seem the last few years they seen to pop-up almost every the past few years not realizing that Apple is playing numbers game! When Less and OLED sells for less then Apple will go OLED!
To me the arm used to idea that APFS was made for internal SSDs and DAS drives! With traditional plater dives as DAS (Direct Attach Storage) should use the older HFS+! That is just my opinion!
Another thing that's getting under my skin is how many times on Mac News sites we heard the iPad OLED rumors on next version so many times now it is getting old now!
