No, I'm not worried about them being legal and all, just what your history with them was.
So, at one time, all the songs had names?
And if so, you are saying something happened and wiped out all the names?
And if I have that much right, you were able to "get cd track name" for 5 of...
I'll bite...
...because they don't have a name.
Care to give us more information? Like how or where you obtained these songs. Maybe provide a screenshot of your problem.
The more you give "us", the more we can give you.
No DRM, no content.
But I have a question. Most know about the work around for songs bought from iTunes...burm them to CD, then reimport...but does this also work for video?
I may be mistaken, but I believe even the earliest iPods could be utlized with either platform, regardless of the initial formatting. You would, however, have to reformat it to your system if it came formatted for the other system.
Makes sense?
For you, unless I'm again mistaken, you will...
Then get out the credit card, the refurb section of the Apple Store has awesome deals.

I've never had a problem using 1 hour 20 minutes as my guide, when burning a traditional music (not mp3) CD.
In fact, iTunes will tell you when you have too many songs in a playlist, and will "grey out" the excess.
Disagree wholeheartedly with your Taskbar love. I am forced to use CP daily (well, Monday through Friday anyway) and while it's not the thing about Windows I hate most, it is the thing that constantly reminds me why I hate Windows.
You think text is easier to quickly identify then an icon...
Can you right-click (or Apple-Click) on it? Sometimes that will let you view the contents of a package. Still odd though, that the folder would be a package.
yep, if the discs say eMac then it is an installation specific OS. What you need is the "Retail" version for use on any machine. Even if they gave you sufficient CDs to contain all the data on the DVD, it won't install on anything but an eMac.
I think you were had. Try to get your money back.
Negative. The iPod is a syncing device only. If you try to sync it with an "empty" iTunes on the new Mac, it will itself become "empty".
Search versiontracker.com for multiple programs that will allow you to pull songs off the iPod.
And this is just a guess, but those same programs will...
I've found that all my Podcasts via iTunes (about 400 by now, I'm an avid NPR fan) are automatically marked in Genre as "Podcast". So excluding those are easy.
I'm not sure about Podcasts obtained elsewhere--but as limike pointed out, you can label anything in iTunes (use Genre or kind or...
Set rules appropriately, such as "genre does NOT contain Podcasts". Not exactly sure about video but I believe you can do similar to include "kind is/is not".
Wow! I wish I had 3 grand burning a whole in my pocket when I was 13...
How about instilling at an early age the value of compounding interest and savings, thereby helping to insure a lifetime of fancy Macs?
I would recommend the Apple refurb page and a 20" Core 2 Duo for a little over a...
