Is there any way to add "Bookmark All Tabs" to the bookmark menu in the bookmarks toolbar? What would I put into the userChrome.css file? I am using Firefox 6.0.2.

Thanks, but I wanted something that would give me a whole chart at once, not have to press each key individually to get the ASCII code. It finally occurred to me to look for a widget, and I found one. Now I am very puzzled. I wanted to use a filename starting character with an ASCII code...

Is there any app for Macs which will display an ASCII code chart for all the keys on the keyboard? Preferably it would give the codes in both hexadecimal and decimal (but just hex would do).

In the preferences editor for Opera, the font settings are numbers separated by commas for each type of element. The first number is the font size, but what are the others? Example - setting for Toolbar: 16,4,0,0,0,0,Helvetica Neue The 16 is the font size. What is the 4, and what are the zeros?

That is no go. That option is greyed out, since I disabled the app updates in all three settings in about:config. I guess a quick check is out now. At least nothing happens if I do not check for updates.

When you click on "Check for updates" with FF6, if there is an update available, Firefox now starts downloading the update almost immediately. Is there any way to increase the time elapsed before that download starts?

Why not just close any open applications before shutting down the operating system? It is just a good idea, and will minimize future problems with applications.

It is a good idea to close open applications before shutting down the operating system. You are less likely to have problems with those applications later if you do that. That applies to any operating system, not just Mac OS Lion.

There is a button at the top of the window that says "Fonts". That is where I changed the fonts. I got Tinkertool from this site: http://www.bresink.com/osx/0TinkerTool/download.php5

What I did was to use Tinkertool to set all the system fonts it could change to one size except the monospace fonts.

Access the dashboard with F12, click the plus sign at the bottom left of the screen, and then close the widget with the X symbol that appears on it, then choose Manage Widgets, and uncheck the box next to the name of the item.

Look in Apple menu > About This Mac > More Info > Software > Applications. Look under the Kind column. If it says PowerPC, it is running under Rosetta.

Is the cursor apparently moving at random, or is it doing something that appears purposefull? I had a problem with my laptop with the cursor moving randomly. It turned out that the battery had swelled up and was pressing on the underside of the trackpad.

In Firefox 4, what code does one use in userChrome.css to get rid of the line "Subscribe to this Page" from the bookmarks menu in the bookmarks toolbar inside the window? Is there any way to remove "Unsorted Bookmarks" from the bottom of that menu?

Is there a Mac standalone tool that can show you what colour a hexadecimal colour code will produce? I am having to launch a graphics editor in order to do that using HexColorPicker, which adds itself into the colour selector. it would be nice if I had only to launch a little tool by itself.

I also use Macaroni to keep the OS maintenance tasks up to date, since I never know when the computer will be off when the task is scheduled to be done.
