    KVM for Mac and PC

All USB kvm's can do that. I'm using one right now with my G4 and a 8600 (with USB-card) an Acer PC and a FreeBSD-server, works good, no audio sharing in my kvm though.

    Many Lost Preferences

I had the same problem when my HD space went low. I've talked about this in an earlier thread here somewhere. My guess is that you need at least as much free HD-space as you have RAM installed to avoid this problem.

    Deleted mail.app accounts

Check if something is left in your Library/Mail - folder. I lost an account when I struck a Bug a while ago, the mailfolders where still in Library/Mail and when i re-created the account with the original name the mail where recovered.

    LaserJet 2100TN problem ;(

Just a follow up, I just visited a client who wanted to connect a 2100tn directly to a single iMac. He didn't have any cross over cable so I took a "normal" ethernet cable and it worked. I think (at least newer) Mac's detect the cable polarity and do a "cross" internally.

    editng default paper sizes/print settings

I thougt you did that by creating a "Custom Paper Size" in the "Page Setup" dialog. Different printer drivers have different preset paper size depending on the printers capabilities. The receipt printers i have worked with did not have any Mac printer drivers, so I had to control them directly...

    Sony DV Camera firewire problems

Not all cameras have FireWire in enabled, for legal reasons I think (at least in Europe). But I have seen somewhere a dongle you can buy to reprogram your cam to enable it. I never had to do that myself, my PC100 works both in and out with no reprogramming.

    iSync and P800 no go

I could not get iSync 1.1 to work with my P800 (iSync just went into a loop and I had to force quit) so I upgraded the P800 at a SonyEricsson Service Point to the latest software. Phone: CXC162002 RD2 Bluetooth CXC12529 R5A Now when I try to sync, it takes a while then it seems to go ahead...

    FreeBSD

I ran NetBSD on a MacII ci , with Web, Mail,AppleShare and FTP-server , worked perfectly. I had 546 days uptime when I shut it down myself. The only problem was the loud fan sound. I had no X11 installed, that would probably be to slow, but running via Telnet it was ok.

    lynx help!!!

You can start it with /usr/local/bin/lynx in the terminal. A more permanent solution would be to set up your path variable correctly in your shell, I'm sure you can find a lot of threads about that if you do a search

Problem: Java2 SDK for OS X?

You can use all the command lina java tools in the MacOS X Terminal. javac etc... I think you have to install the (free) Apple Developer Tools, but if you have Project Builder, you already have them installed.
