Toast 6 doesn't work. 5.2.1 or whatever runs quite well, but not 6. Darn. Just when I thought I could use Toast from my Burner-less iBook :(.

Boot and Shut Down times let you schedule when your Mac will do those things. I never use them so haven't looked for 'em.

Why would our old machines become a, in my case, Sage doorstop? They still work OK, just they don't have the latest-and-greatest system. I can live with that (probably because my good ol' iMac will be 4 by then, and I'll be thinking about a laptop by then...).

As said in another topic: Get some CDRWs. They're slower, yes and a bit more pricey, true; but the end result is that you don't have to keep crankin' out the CD-Rs like they're going out of style. Unless, of course, you like to have old builds lying about... then yes, CD-Rs are the way to go...

I've gathered that is has something to do with perl 5.8.1 not being kosher with MT's perl scripts.

Anyone notice that MovableType no longer works? Is this just me, or did, like I suspect, Panther 7B44 overwrite my Perl install?

You can drag a folder on to them, if that's what you mean... I can't remember if you could before or not. I would supply a movie, but snapz pro doesn't seem to work in 7B44.

I personally like the new icon. It is very "Apple Chic"; matches the new metallic undertones of the system. Also, this build feels a lot snappier, even on my iMac G3 450MHz. Anyone else notice this?
