bump... does anyone have one with a quicksilver?

im considering purchasing from apple.com a refurbished 5 gb iPod and iBook for my wife. does anyone here have any experience with refurbished gear? any problems with reliability or issues with warranties? im curious.. thanks in advance. :)

bump... as additional info, the player works for a while... perhaps 10 minutes or so then it always freezes up and i have to force quit it to stop.

since i upgraded the firmware with the latest version, i've not been able to play a lot of my commercial DVDs although I havent had a problem with the one's i've made. anyone else experiencing similar problems since the firmware upgrade?

hello... as a relatively new user to macs, i was wondering if there is any software available which can determine if any computer has logged onto to another computer either via airport or other means? does anyone know of such a program?

for some reason either aquamon or cputemp app is unable to determine the temp of the cpu. is there something i can do to troubleshoot? cputemp gives -1 degrees C and aquamon says unsupported cpu. actually this is on both the g4 867 qs and my iBook.. what gives?
