    The Apple iPad...

I think it's a bit overpriced though at $499 for the cheapest model...

PLEASE HELP! Sound not working - MacBook Air

I'd also check to make sure you have the right sound source selected in sound preferences, or you can try plugging in head phones. Deleting the cache will do the same as stated above.

    Power Book G4

Have you tried holding down "C" on startup, or the Option key...?

    Red Alert 2

A MacBook Pro? I'm pretty sure it only came out for Windows. You could always install Windows on your computer then run it off of that using back BootCamp. Or you could use CrossOver which is a Mac OS X program that allows you to run Windows programs.

    Glossy or anti-glare?

I always hear people complaining about how terrible their glossy screens are, but I've never had a problem with the one on my MacBook; the screen always looks great on it. EDIT: Also, if there is any glare at all, then I just turn up the brightness and it fixes the problem pretty well.

    Glossy or anti-glare?

I definitely prefer the glossy screen over the matte one.

    Upgrade to OS X 10.5 from OS X 10.4.11

    Haha, just stick with 10.4!

    Upgrade to OS X 10.5 from OS X 10.4.11

Well the simplest thing is that you cannot run 10.5, so you are stuck running only 10.4. Unless you know how to hack the firmware or the operating system, you cannot run 10.5, and thus are stuck with running 10.4.

    Upgrade to OS X 10.5 from OS X 10.4.11

There is actually a way tot bypass it, but I wouldn't do it unless you really know what you are doing. This is the installer. (oh wait, unfortunately, the installer on MacUpdate has a bad link....)

    monitoring network activity

I use OpenDNS. Just follow the instructions on the site, and it'll lead you through whatever you need to do. There is a free version, and it allows you to block sites and monitor traffic on your router.

Wipe hard drive with Mac OS 9.2

You could just install a new CD-Rom drive and bring it back to health though if you don't want to buy a new mac. Check this out.

Wipe hard drive with Mac OS 9.2

Well you would need to boot off some other system in order to erase your drive.

    Airport Extreme, simultaneous G & N

Apparently it does not slow the Airport Extreme down at all because it runs as though it is two separate routers, and thus apparently can have two different network. Which having two in one is always a very nice feature.

Upgrade to Mac OS 10.3 without CD-ROM drive?

Well unfortunately there isn't much you can do with this iMac. It doesn't have firewire so you can't connect to another mac in target mode. 160 MB of ram is the bare minimum for 10.3 and with a 233 mhz processor it will run incredibly slow. So in your current condition you are pretty much...

    Airport Extreme, simultaneous G & N

Well I don't think that when it comes down to it, it doesn't really matter what model you have. I'm glad though that you did find something that suits your needs. Wow! I didn't know that, that is really awesome! Unfortunately I only have the old school Airport Extreme, but luckily I don't use...

    Deleting original admin account

Well I'm not sure what your uses for Word is, but for mine the export to Word from Pages works just fine when I'm trying to exchange files with PC users.

    Airport Extreme, simultaneous G & N

What version of Mac OS X do you have? The earlier version of 10.5 did not support Time Machine on the network. What type of router do you currently have? It appears though that other people have the same problem that you are having, so maybe Buffalo just says they support Time Machine, but...

    Airport Extreme, simultaneous G & N

Well I'm not sure what you are trying to say with #1, but what I can say is that any drive that can be mounted can be used for Time Machine, it might take a small step of tweaking, but it is possible. However, NATs are generally able to work with Time Machine flawlessly without tweaking, so have...

Warcraft 2, OS tells me CD not in drive

Haha, well I'm glad the forums helped! I personally think Warcraft II was the best release of Warcraft ever. P.S. Be sure to let us know how it turns out!
