I've been using Windows at work for several years. That experience has inoculated me against any temptation to switch to the Dark Side. I do occasionally think about picking up a cheapo PC to run Linux on. But Windoze? No freaking way!

I use the Kensington Optical Pro (5 buttons and scroll wheel, plus chording) and I purely love it! Kensington's drivers are awesome, and I can program the buttons to my heart's content. It definitely makes me more productive. At work, using (shudder) a Micro$oft 2-button-&-scroll-wheel mouse...

I'm hoping that Apple will respond, at least to allow a reasonably priced (<$20) email-only .mac. I don't use my iDisk or HomePage very often, since I already have a free 20MB website through Lycos, and can run a small-scale FTP server to replace the iDisk. I do like having my mac.com email...

Huh? I have cable too, and as of 10.1.5, iDisk is pretty d@mn fast.

I use a stripeless Aqua theme called Simple Aqua (IIRC) while running 10.1.5. But I find that I don't miss themes at all when running Jag beta. It just looks so gooood. :D

I voted always used a Mac, never used a PC. But that should have been never voluntarily used a PC. I had to use them at work (Dells running WinNT, pure Hell). So I'm not just some blind zealot PC-basher. I know why I hate 'em! :p

Naww, it's not really "toned down," it's just a bit more subtle. And fast! :D

A CD-RW?! It takes me about 20 of those suckers! Actually, it's not that bad. I've already copied mucho megabytes of stuff that I seldom use (and therefore have not changed). Doing a "complete" back-up of my important files only takes about 3 or 4 CD-RWs. :D

I don't know if RealPlayer can play streams in OS X. Have you tried saving a streamed feed to your hard drive?

Since the whole point of this update is to fix the security hole in SU, it quite logically is not installed through SU.
