Apple has updated their statement. They are processing orders immediately and you will get your copy from them 3-5 days after you order. ;) Some people have claimed to order on Wednesday and had it on Friday.

I hide my dock so that I have the biggest, cleanest screen possible. I use magnification. I love it. I think it is brilliant. Most of all, it is an option. If you don't like it, don't use it.;)
