Ah, i think i getcha. The desktop folders in OS X do not reside in the root of the hard drive as the OS 9 ones do. The folder you require is in the Users folder, in the specific user folder, called Desktop. That being the case, the whole desktop may have to reside in wherever the user folder...

I believe there are some slight chipset differences for the macs, hence Apples own (very expensive) version, so it might not work, or at least, not properly.

Yeah, import into iTunes and burn back to CD. Audio CDs don't work like data CDs so DiskCopy prob won't like it. It'll prob be just as fast ripping and burning anyway. Toast is a better package overall, but for audio CDs I do use iTunes, cos it's a no-brainer.
