suitecase instaling WITHOUT classic OS

During installation of suitecase errror reports fly by telling me it cant find a system folder. I reccon the installer reports about the OS9 folder thats not on the system. Have already tried to copy the system- and OS ROM-files but would not be recognized.

Anyone?
 
You mean you're installing under OS X, but the installer cannot find the OS 9 you have installed so is puttin on the OS X only version and not the classic one?

This can be a problem if you installed 9 after X or you have them on different drives. Go into your system prefs panel and into the Classic section and select the OS 9 system you wish to use. Then go back to the installer and try again. I had the same thing happen with Photoshop 7 (or maybe it was Illustrator... anyway...) it worked fine installing both versions after I did that.
 
That's not quite the problem. I tried to install Suitcase on an OS X-only system, and it just plain would not install. Not even when I tried the custom install without the Classic component.
I finally had to install 9.2.2 on my FireWire drive in order to get Suitcase to install. :rolleyes:
