On a somewhat related note, is there a way to rename the volumes you mount? I mount 2 of them, but they all mount with my username as their name. Is there a way label them differently?

Are you sure iPhoto is part of 10.3? I think it comes on the install cds when you get your mac, but I don't think it is part of the OS distribution. Not sure about 10.2 either, but that was so long ago... Assuming you have the system install CDs/DVD that came with the computer, you should...

I have ripped some of my audio books onto my mac, but now they are 100+ tracks long per book. For whatever reason, my iPod doesn't recognize these in the audiobooks section. So my "solution" is to somehow join these files together so there are only 3-5 per book, much like the audiobooks I get...

This isn't so much a problem or question as it is just an observation. So I was doing some work with MS Excel (2004) and it seems to save the last location you saved to and saves new stuff there. So if I previously saved a workbook to ~/Documents/ then the next time I save something else...
