The same thing also worked fine on my system (OS X 10.1.2), just gave it a try as I also want to print out my finder window... Copy/Pase into TextEdit seems to be a good way, but anyways Apple should revive the Print command in the Finder....

In my services menu there is a entry called "Net Services" which contains the entries "HomePage", "HomePage requirements", "Order Book", "Order Book requirements" etc... Can somebody tell me what this is, whut its 4 and where it comes from? If I remember it right, the NetServices submenu...

I don't think that its a virus. Im always logged in as user without any permissions. So how should a virus get the permission to change my icons? Some days ago, even my OS X HD icon got messed up by the black stripes. N as far as I know, changing the HD Icon is only possible for root/admin...

in the left upper corner i can see a part of my screensaver running, on the other three party i only see lines... quess it looks the same as ur screensaver does. but anyways ill post a screenshot later today... :)

I wouldnt alwayz work as root user. Not because I could screw up my system by deleting some important files, but because Apps I start would also automatically get root access. N this would open all doors to viruses or buggy programs.

I think everybody using OS X has a root user account on his HD. So the question for the poll should b whether the root user account is activated or not...:)

Everytime I watch a DVD movie on MacOS X 10.1.2, my Plasmatunnel OpenGL screensaver gets messed up. Is this a known bug that watching DVD movies messes up OpenGL? If so, I wonder why it only messes up the OpenGL screensavers, and not OpenGL games too.

Unfortunately the cursor disappears completely. It doesnt even show up again when moving it over a textedit field or something. The only thing I can do is to logout. As soon as the login screen appears on my screen, the mouse cursor will be visible again. Could it b that this has something...

Everytime I use the built in visualizer in iTunes 2.0.3 in fullscreen mode, my mousepointer dissapears. And it won't come back until I logout :( Is anybody having the same probs? Any suggestions how to solve this problem?

y can't u b connected to ur OS 9 macs for longer then a few minutes? I have 2 performas wit OS 9 and OS 8 in my network, and it ain't a problem to stay connected to them even for days (if os 8 won't crash during this time)... :) btw, did u do a clean install of OS X 10.1 or did u just...

If its really Windows XP wit a nice aqua interface, how come there is iTunes running on it? Is it just a background picture in XP, also wit the dock on it

I think Mac users are mostly people who don't like Microsoft and its behavior on the software market. Its just that Apple, their Software and their Hardware, seem to b more friendlier and not as warlike as M$ is.

I guess the most important thing, window resizing, won't be hardware acceleratable :rolleyes:

As far as I know, Aqua ISN'T hardware accelerated yet at all! :rolleyes:

Are there any good packet sniffer programs out there for OS X? I'd like to sniff around in my private network to c whats going on there :)
