I have my MacBook Air to prompt for password upon awakening. I have noticed that sometimes it prompts me for my password immediately after I wake it...... and other times it takes a while or I have to press a key to make the prompt come up. Why is this?

You know how you can put folders (such as Utilities) in the Dock for quick access? Every time I do that the icon of the folder shows whatever is first in that folder. For instance, Utilities in the Dock shows the Activity Monitor icon in the Dock because that's the first app in my Utilities...
