I have a wireless network at home and at the office. There's a couple things that could be improved and kinda annoys me with OS X. At both home and office, we pick up other people's wireless network. In Network system preferences, it can be set on to automatic, but often times, it won't...

this sounds like an easy problem but i can't figure it out. someone made the file icons huge on my computer and i want to change it back to normal size. I've checked the Finder preferences, system preferences>dock, desktop, and appearance ... any ideas?

well for photoshop, you've got to make sure your image size and resolution is right. it's easy for text to be aliased in photoshop. in illustrator, ok i admit, if you're not familiar with it, don't touch it. otherwise, it gives me vector based text which is nice and crisp, and exact placement...

as a designer, i use illustrator. if you're looking for corporate or non-creative jobs, a word or rtf file would probably be standard and you're safest bet.

just curious, has anyone studied abroad for a graduate program? how about a non-degree program? I'm thinking of looking at advertising schools outside the US like Australia? any good programs or schools?
