Should be the same for both 10.3.9 and Tiger. Select the item(s) you wanted zipped and hold down the <ctrl> key, then press the mouse button while still holding <ctrl>. A menu will pop-up (called a contextual menu b/c it changes based on what is selected/pointed at when you bring it up). In...
The Flash ROM update looks scary. Could disable the video card (i.e. only one) if not carefull. Is it worth the upgrade for my PB (i.e. what speed/feature improvements are most obvious)? Noticed any problems?

Seems copying the Mac mini isn't only hard to do, but also more expensive. Apple really did a nice job with the mini Mac in making it the least expensive machine out there.
You may have bad RAM chips. My laptop also suffered from occassional panics due to bad RAM, see below:

I remember back in the OS9 days that you could drag the menubar to the second monitor in the monitors preference panel. Is this still possible in OSX, or does this simply re-assign the secondary monitor as the main monitor? I definitly like Viro's idea about having two menubars, though. What...
Well, it seems that MS is copying another aspect of OSX; OS level PDF-like support. Except, they are taking on Adobe and making their own PDF-like format.

as far as the iHome thing, didn't Apple try this already just before OSX with a mostly gaming machine released only in Asia? Darn, forgot what it was called.
