    I'm taking it that you do/did have the latest update installed. I would try to trash the prefs which should be in your users/yourusername/library/preferences trash the following file 'com.extensis.Suitcase.plist' and the following folder 'Suitcase Preferences'

    Jaguar?

    Jaguar is OSX version 10.2.x which should be the only version you can buy now. Even after the purchase though you'll mostlikely have to dl the 10.2.3 updater.

    Actually we are using Extensis Suitcase for font management. The problem lies in where the old true types and and other non-ps fonts that show up from other locations. And for OS9 systems we use ATM Deluxe. But font management is easy on OS9 there is only one place where programs put fonts...

    Should I be able to trash the non-English fonts of the system folder if i use only English? Also after doing some searching, it looks like Adobe apps keep a font folder in /Library/Application Support/fonts and Acrobat 5 also puts a /Library/Application Support/PDFL/5.0/Fonts I work...

    I want to know what fonts 10.2 absolutely needs and which i can dump. Also knowing the different possible locations that fonts might show up would be helpful.

    Thank you so much testuser! That did the trick, i deleted thos prefs and every thing was restored to working order. -- And there was much rejoicing...

    I have sharepoints and tinkertools prefpanes installed but i've had those there forever without any problems. And I don't have any other extra drivers installed, I never even installed the Logitech driver because my mouse works so well without.

    I ran Disk First Aid from An OS9 boot (not classic, classic is evil) but all it did was fix a missing custom icon, any other ideas? Anybody? -- Bad Co -- 10.1.4, 800Mhz G4, 768MB RAM

    I don't know if its neccesarily a 10.1.4 related problem but I've developed a rather annoying problem. Now a large majority of my applications or executable files are opening the app 'TextEdit' instead of the desired application. For example I go to open iTunes in my dock but suprise it opens...
