check your settings in netinfo manager under config AppleFileServer, you will see an item called idle time out, which on my pismo is defaulted to ...10 minutes. Make this number larger and see if it helps.

I had some similar problems with ie and omniweb. Mine were cured by going through the prefs for ie and enabling java. I was not able to get omni to load SOME pages, but it worked well for others. There are some pretty decent builds of Mozilla out now that work quite well also.

You can connect to samba/windows shares with encrypted and non encrypted passwords if you use Sharity, which you can get at www.obdev.at. It has a browser which enables you to see all shares etc. Really nice software
