    Using a G3/500 and enjoying incredible Panth. speed. I'm amazed and surprised, just like Trip. The apps I use all day long (Safari, Mail...) are slightly improved. But my concern number 1 was speed and Apple has been very satisfactory here.

    G3/500MHz 640RAM Panther is just as important as Jaguar as far as speed is concerned. As for the updated software, I'm still testing but already enjoying it a lot.

    WYSIWIG editors are very demanding in terms of graphical power. Hence, what you are asking for is a feature (designing your page in Graphics mode opposed to Code mode, to speak in Dreamweaver terms) without the inconvenient of it (the CPU intensive process that allows it).     Details: Picture - Guggenheim Fund., NYC. Icons - G5 system icons, Icon Factory. Dock apps - Mostly Apple stuff, then Transmit, BBEdit, Photoshop, Toast, Word. Folders in my Dock - Sites folder, Studies (Sciences Po) folder, Favorites folder (contains aliases to Quark, Mozilla etc).

    Indigo G3/50MHz, was equipped with 10.2.6 when updated. Panther 10.3 runs like a dog. Fast. New more efficient Finder. Exposé's cool. Mail's a bit better (was already fine). I'm enjoying this thing :)

    Oh, it works with Dock ?! Wow, thanks for the tip ! Arden: dragging in the message is a pain, my Mail.app window covers 90% of the screen, and I have to resize things or move files to allow drag/drop. Hulk, wonderful tip, "efkaristo poly" !
