    Well i scrapped the install, back to good old NT4. There were problems with the ._ files locking so i just put them back on NT4 for now.

    I shold of rephrased, i meant stop the services. I was able to on the windows 2000 server and all is well. SMB doesn't rely on the Macintosh File Server service so i disabled it and no more blue screen.

    I know for a fact those DStore files are in some of the folders and are not deleted. I don't even think macs can see those files so they aren't being deleted.

    Yeah i looked on that just now again and earlier and it basically said for NT4 there was hotfix for this, so one would assume this was fixed in windows 2000 but i guess not.

    Thats right, i used windows print sharing and it works flawlessly....The only thing is that if you are using quark xpress you need to go to file-->print---->options and change data to ASCII from either clean 8 bit or binary. For some reason windows won't handle the data if being transferred...
