Yeah I think your are right. My G3 is just getting slower every day.

I do want a MBP I just don't require all the extras it has if the MacBook will be compareable in speed. I am just afarid I will regret the extra money spent. My other problem is I am still on a 700mhz g3 so I need the upgrade.

My biggest concern is that all the bugs are not worked out yet. What do you think. The only reason I said June is the MacBook is supposed to be out and if it is comparable it might be worth it.

I am having the hardest time trying to decide when to get a MacBook Pro, now or wait till June. From what I have read it sounds like all the bugs are worked out in the new rev D of the MBP. What do you think. Will the MacBook (iBook) have a core duo or a single core?

Dude Your Other Case Is Probably Fine This Happend To My Emac And I Unpluged It For 24 Hrs And It Now Works Fine.

This sound like the same symptoms as when my logic board went out.

I dont know.But you could make a folder set permissions keep it empty and every time you need to make a new folder just duplicate and rename it.

restart the computer and hold command s till it starts up in single user mode and stops scrolling the type fsck -f -y when that is done type reboot. good luck

try hooking it up to a different computer and reformating the ipod as mac os extended drive mac sure itunes is off when you do this. then take it back to your computer and plug in the ipod and start itunes. Hope this helps let me know.

if you are not firmilular with teminal just copy and paste the following inside the quotes one at a time in the command line. cd Desktop mkdir the_pictures mv *jpg* the_pictures then restart. good luck
