I only have the Stuffit Expander. I have had it for a long time, and the Finder-freeze problem is quite recent.

I thought of this, but it's not too practical, since I have to have access to all of my stuff to work, and the problem only shows up occasionally...

Every so often the Finder just freezes: can't select any desktop icons or dock apps. Relaunching Finder always fixes it, but it is annoying. I have repaired permissions, cleared caches, no dice, still happens. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Cheers, Allan
