"System" and "System Folder" after Leopard upgrade

I just upgraded my G5 dual Mac Pro from Tiger to Leopard. Everything went very smoothly. I now have two folders, "System" and "System Folder" at the root level that appear to have many of the same things in them. System seems to be the Leopard one (has a Quicklook folder in it), and System Folder the left over Tiger one (has Classic folder).

Can I safely delete the System Folder?

Cheers,
Allan

"System Folder" is for Mac OS 9 (Classic).

"System" is for Mac OS X.

If you no longer need Classic (or anything inside that particular folder), you can safely delete the folder entitled "System Folder." Classic is no longer supported under Leopard, anyway.

If you did an "Archive & Install" procedure, you should expect to see a new "System" folder and a "Previous System Folder" (or similarly named folder).
