I'd be careful with frames... Mostly because IE doesnt like it... and as much as us Mac Heads might not like IE... its on every computer *unless you delete it*... not to mention, it takes alot longer to load than an include... I see your using PHP... do you know how to use includes?

Features like that and search actually are server hogs... I know at least at my school (yes we have vBulletin for our school), we have those two features turned off, because of just that, it steals bandwith and speed for posting and featching of topics... and ect.. Just a little FYI about vB..

advice: design everything to fit a 800 X 600 window... It can have tables that are set to 100% or what ever, but remember, some of the internet users are using older machines... or just dont like the higher resolutions yet... Dont think because I do it, they all do it, or because one...

Try changing the theme, I belive there are about 5 other themes... Including the orriginal... so- Try that, see what it does for you.

Admin really makes little to no money off of the site... That means it comes from his pocket. I'd say, if its his money offering us this service, I wouldnt complain about a minor thing such as this. It would be MUCH different if this was a paid membership site. Either way it's his site...
