i do somewhat understand, but at the same time, hardware is usually what drives new hardware sales, not the software behind it... take apples computers, they dont release a new OS that will only work with their new hardware every time they update hardware, do they? IMHO the single click shuffle...

reseated everything, updated firmware and still a crap signal. I know the card works, because if i run a network off my ibook or G4 it sees it... (although weaker than my other computers as well). Everything is installed correctly afaik. Really frustrating :(

you are going to need specific codecs to play avi files unfortunately more common ones are divx, 3vix, xvid etc...

i took it back and got the proper non-fancy one ;) im happy to report that 10.3.3 fully suports the A07, every app recognizes it, as does the apple system profiler. also with a hack, in iDVD you can burn to an disk image, and then burn that in toast onto a DVD+R if thats what you have...

IMHO this COULD be a good thing for Apple if done correctly. HP is also a fairly cheap manufacturer. I think if HP can figure out a way to make cheaper computers, and let Apple still produce the higher perfoming/higher cost/better designed computers it would still work out. You would satisfy...
