So, I guess all this means the moral of the story is.... We all should have goen to law school - man, there's some big bucks to be made in suing people! Think of all the CD's you could buy from the legal fees you'll get out of the RIAA... ;-)

Download music and prepare to pay..Starting 25Jun03

The whole thing is ridiculous - so let's say the music industry is successful and manages to sue music fans for swapping tunes on the internet. Well, from one point of view those people that get sued won't be able to afford to buy real music anymore as they'll spend the rest of their lives...

On a related, but slightly different, issue does anyone know if it is possible to up the speed of a G3 processor using a firmware patch or something like that? I have an 800mhz iBook and soon after it came out they upped the processor to 900mhz - surely its a simple tweek?!

OK, before y'all start jumping on me I have to say that iTunes is probably the best audio software I have ever used. In fact, the addition of AAC encoding has now got me ripping my entire CD collection again, despite the fact I've already got everything as .mp3. So, why imperfect? Has...

The Yin and Yang of Computing

Word! I guess perfection would be everybody in the world using OSX and Windows being banned on the grounds that it is bad for your mental health! :-)

The Yin and Yang of Computing

How strange is this? My iBook was stolen a month ago and has now been replaced by a shiny new one, just like the original but better. All good, but the day I received it I started a new job where I am forced to use a Compaq with a Pentium 3 running (wait for it...) Windows 2000 5 days a...
