that monstruosity is a Desktop G3/233 , top of the line in it's time... it's incredible how things change.... at my parents house i still have a running Macintosh SE (8 Mhz 68000 processor, 1MB RAM & 20MB HD) I'll have the three of them running and I'll take some pictures......

Canon claims that its powershot A75 is not compatible with Tiger. Does anyone have a Powershot A series and a Mac with tiger installed and could use it? thanks.

Wich is the "newest" QuickTime version for MacOs 9? Where can I download it? and does anyone know if I can add another software synth to the existing Quicktime synth? and whare can I find a compatible one? thank you all!

Can anyone tell me where can I find information about the iMac optical line out? what devices are compatible... how can I use it, what type of optical are we referring to...., SPDIF? is it 5.1 ? I cannot find many data in the apple site.... thanks!

some cammeras (as the Sony VX1000 PAL, european or southamerican version) do not accept a dv input via iLink. Wich camera are you using?

Has anyone heard about WD Caviar HDs dying young? i was about to buy one and a friend told me that he had eight, (yes, eight) WD Caviars that died of a problem in the logic board. Any reports on that? any help will be much appreciated.

I know that the Intel macs wil be available luckily in 2007, but it's a year and a half from now.... i'm worried that i will be buying brand new obsolete hardware..... I'm currently using a Beige G3..... anything is better than this... i know.... but it still runs fine after, i don't know, 8...

i know.... hehehehe i mean, a power supply has many ways of turning bad.... some of these ways may harm other important hardware.... i mean: does it burn out? does it provide less or more volts than expected? i don't know.... i'm just asking

has anyone else encountered this problem with new iMacs? what kind of problems are we talking about here?

you see, Network browser freezed my mac as soon as i opened it...., but i managed to transfer something via tcp/ip, inventing some ip numbers.... but the archive ended in some hidden folder in one user account in the iMac's root drive and i couldn't see it but using sherlock. on the os9 desktop...
