Problem solved on another forum. erasing the address book preference file fixes this issue.

Looks very real to me. I think a touch screen and larger LCD is the direction Apple is going. Makes since given their increased video content on ITunes.

I think the "dual processor G4 800 w/1GB RAM " will be slow for what you are doing. I use a Dual 1.25 1 GB Ram and it bogs down using IMovie and IDVD. If you can afford the IMac Intel go with that.

I have a bunch of .avi files that I need to view on my Mac. I have the latest OSX and quicktime, but the files just open in QT and play audio. There is not video, just a white screen. Is there a program on OSX that will play these files? Or a plug-in for QT? Thank you.
