ok. similar problem to my recently aired usb problem...how do i get my jaz to appear on the osx desktop? It's connected by iomega's own scsi to usb connector. but won't appear even with their latest 4.0.2 software. iomega finally admit there is a problem on the osx code.... any ideas...

well in my continuing discovery of the benefits and shortfalls of mac osx - begining to love it, really - I can't get it to read my iomega 2gb jaz. it's connected via a scsi to usb, i have downloaded iomega's latest software and well... the jaz just ain't there. system profiler...

why is OSX unstable on a broadband connection? what can I do to stop it logging off, or even failing to log on unless I unplug the usb to the modem? Also why aren't there any sounds when i open apps or files? it all seems very remote... JM
