i need a way to shut it without it ever going to sleep at all...got any ideas? what do you know about sleepless?

I dont want to use it on a external monitor. Basically I want to be able to close my MB but it in my bag and reopen it in class without having to reconnect to the VPN. It would be nice to be able to play itunes without having to have it open also.

I tried downloading the beta version of sleepless for my 10.4.8 intel MB but the closed lid operation still wont work. any ideas?
