Starting yesterday, my iMac G5 has started randomly freezing up on me. This happens even if I am editing a text file or doing anything, on the internet or not. The computer will lock up for about 2 minutes and then unlock and be fine like if nothing had happened. I have ran every possible...

IT was retail, thats why Apple replaced it. Man, I though I would get a clear answer here, but no one knows either :/

Both items have been replaced and Apple is puzzled. He doesn't want to pay 300$ for Apple to tell him that he has a problem that we are aware of now.

We went to the Apple store and they replaced the CD. He has bought 2 new drives and no luck on any of them. Thanks

The panthers were the CDs that came with the computer. He bought Tiger at the nearest Apple store.
