it has always been located at the default location, i haven't moved it to any external drive. another thing is that my amoung of gigabytes available has not changed at all. if the iphoto library was not there, or had been deleted somehow, wouldn't that have freed up space on my hard drive...

hi! yes, i did check there. there is a folder for "pictures" but there is nothing inside! is there another place i should check there? i also did a search for "library" and there is nothing! so confused. thanks for responding...and any other suggestions you might have!
