    Thanks nixgeek. I had never heard about this slipstreaming before, but does sounds like might work, let me try. But have you any idea if I make a CD in this fashion, would it still be accepted as a legal version for installations ?

    I had a slightly different problem with a stuck Windows installaed CD (single one only), as I wanted to abort the Windows XP Installation in the middle as I noticed my XP version was SP1a and not SP2 as Apple recommends to be used for partitioning - and didn't want to take a chance of messing up...

    Bootcamp partitioning with Windows XP ver older than SP2

    I had to abort the installation of windows in middle of Bootcamp installation on Intel MacBook, as I read the fine print and warnings on installation guide not to use the Windows XP version that didn't have SP2. I have XP Professional SP1a version 2002 single disk - and wondering what the issue...
