The limit for twisted-pair-ethernet cables is 100 meters. You can choose the color if you don't like the default grey - few extra bucks. If that is not enough to wrap your network around your house, you could as well afford some wireless toys. SCNR :D

Both Panther-macs in my network suddenly loose all ethernet connections once or twice each day. Why? All OS9-macs and Linuxs - even XP-PCs stay peacefully connected.
