Random disconnections

Both Panther-macs in my network suddenly loose all ethernet connections once or twice each day. Why? All OS9-macs and Linuxs - even XP-PCs stay peacefully connected.

I had this same kind of issue a few weeks back.. driving me CRAZY! Turned out the DHCP release/refresh was set for 120 minutes on my router... just a thought, might want to check....

I have no DHCP at all :eek: AppleTalk over IP with fixed IP-Adresses.
One or two disconnections per day. :mad:
 
Aha. Searching a network volume for files disconnects me instantly :confused:
It just has to be a specialty of OS X.
I've done the cable-crawling.
