    I don't know what the problem could be. I boot into OS 9 on my X partition and it works fine - actually great. Rebuild the desktop, zap the PRAM, if you have Norton, use it. If that doesn't work, re-install OS 9.

    I figured it out! I placed the internet download update on the main HD, then increaced the installer's memory allocation to 25 mb. IT INTALLED PREFECTLY!!!!!!!
