I want to remove some things that I will never use, one of them being text to speech ability, for example. How do I go about doing this? I'm brand new to X but I have some unix experience, if that makes a difference. So far I like X, but I'd like to make it a bit trimmer. Thanks

Does UFS use a B-tree? I imagine it does. . . What else are you going to use? I'm thinking about making a UFS partition, at least, but HFS+ is a tough algorithm to beat.
