I've upgraded to OS X. Now when putting in older CDs, my computer no longer recognizes them. It used to recognize them before going to OS X. Is there a work around for this?

Suddenly I'm unable to burn CDs. I am getting the error code (0 x 8 8002006D)
I've checked permissions and run disk utility. It says there are no problems.
Any ideas?
