Reseller upgrades: Post who has it

Well, surprise surprise, CompUSA in West Nyack NY did NOT have it, nor does anyone else within a 40 min drive of my house, as far as I know. A very disappointing day, factored in with work. They claim it "might" be in late next week, not a very good showing for Apple in this part of NY, IMHO...

Reseller upgrades: Post who has it

Called up two Circuit Cities and they don't have it. (this is on the east coast at least) Can't get through to my CompUSA, and there's really no info on their website about it. Is it safe to assume all CompUSA's have the update CD's in? It's an hour ride to our nearest one, should I bet on...

    G4 and G5 chips

I hear the G5 will be using RAMBUS, "LAF", I love my iBook, but new 1.6 Athlon MP versus Dual G4, and I wager a large sum of money versus G5, it will be no contest. I've been using AMD platforms at home w/ DDR since it came out last year (DDR that is) and it does everything I want and more...

We will dedicate bandwidth for 10.1!

I am assuming that you'll need a burner to burn it to so you can install it? Me = teh burner on iBook w/ only OS X and PC w/o burner :( -Drew

    Apache config?

Since my DSL provider blocks port 80 for my connection, I need to config the Apache app for port 8080. How can I do this? What about further config? Overall I'm fairly happy with OSX, but I'm somewhat disappointed by it's networking capabilities? :/ -Drew
