I'm running 10.3.9 on a g4 450. When I start up, the normal rotating ticker spins up on the grey screen, and the apple sits for a while. After an abnormally long time, the apple switches to a big O of equal size, with a diagonal line going thru. Kinda like the red circle on a no U-Turn sign...
