I have achieved partial success by selecting the Gimp-Print 5.0.0 beta2 Photosmart P1100 to work with the 1215. That was my default work-around on the old G3 using OS 10.3.9. It will print documents, but I'm not sure how many features of the printer I'll be missing out on. Still not sure...
